Mr. Leow Soon Seng established Gano Excel in Malaysia — a wellness company committed to producing and marketing premium-quality Ganoderma lucidum products. He chose a network marketing model to carry out his mission to spread health and wealth to every household.
Mr. Leow invented the world's first instant 3-in-1 coffee enriched with his proprietary Ganoderma lucidum extract — GanoCafé. By combining Ganoderma with coffee, he opened the door to a $100 billion industry and millions of coffee drinkers around the world.
Gano Excel expanded its operations inside and out. Gano Sense was developed as the world's first Ganoderma-enriched personal care product. The company expanded internationally to include Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Laos.
Gano Excel opened its doors in the United States, successfully bringing the benefits of Ganoderma lucidum to the West. Operations in the U.S. market join the growing wellness industry projected to reach $1 trillion.

Mr. Leow Soon Seng
Gano Excel has been led by Mr. Leow Soon Seng since its inception in 1995. He is a mycologist and entrepreneur from Kedah, Malaysia. In 1980, Mr. Leow learned about the legendary red mushroom, Ganoderma lucidum. He was amazed at the health benefits the mushroom offered the body: balance, energy, and strength.
He envisioned Ganoderma as a way to spread happiness to others in his community and around the world. However, it was too costly for the average consumer. So, in 1983, Mr. Leow decided he would find a way to cultivate this mushroom himself. He researched Ganoderma for more than a decade, comparing hundreds of varieties and testing different cultivation methods. He was patient, diligent, and committed to perfection.
He developed new techniques for growing Ganoderma that protected the potency and purity of the mushroom. Finally, with a product he was satisfied with, he was ready to establish Gano Excel in 1995. Thanks to Mr. Leow’s dedication to following his “why,” millions have found health and wealth through Ganoderma lucidum.
